Seventh Annual Southern California Economic Summit
The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), in partnership with the Southern California Leadership Council, will be holding the Seventh Annual Southern California Economic Summit in Downtown Los Angeles at The L.A. Hotel Downtown on Thursday, December 1, 2016.
Job recovery, improving economic viability of local communities, and attracting new businesses to Southern California are the impetus for state and local elected officials, public and private sector CEOs, business and labor leaders, stakeholder agency representatives, and city managers to come together. Along with our annual overview of the state of the region’s economy and the key issues that are affecting the region the most, this year’s event will revolve around the innovation economy, how we can be a part of it to build a strong economy for future generations, and what it will mean to grow the economy in a way that ensures those that need help have a way to participate and benefit in our future prosperity.
